These Terms of Service govern your use of GMForge at gmforge.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using GMForge, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using GMForge on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
GMForge is a suite of AI-powered tools for tabletop RPG game masters, including generators for quests, encounters, NPCs, creatures, and player characters, as well as a live combat tracker and Campaign Vault. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.
You must create an account to use GMForge. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create accounts for others without their consent, share your account with others, or create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits.
GMForge offers a free tier with limited daily AI generations and a Pro subscription with unlimited access. Free tier limits are enforced per account per day.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through Stripe's customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.
You retain ownership of all content you create and save using GMForge — including quests, NPCs, encounters, creatures, and any other material stored in your Campaign Vault.
We do not claim any ownership over content you generate. Your campaign content is yours.
By using GMForge, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including AI training.

GMForge uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate content. AI-generated output may occasionally be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. We make no warranties about the accuracy or quality of generated content.
You are responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content appropriately. The copyright status of AI-generated content is an evolving area of law — we recommend treating generated content as creative inspiration rather than definitive legal output.
GMForge, its branding, interface, and underlying code are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of GMForge without our written permission.
The game system names referenced in GMForge (D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners. GMForge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher.
We aim to keep GMForge available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
GMForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of GMForge. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GMForge shall be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of GMForge after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
